Roses On Your Birthday

This cake was done for a very special friend who just turned 40!  :)

Cake is gluten free chocolate, filled with chocolate buttercream and chocolate syrup, covered in dark chocolate ganache and vanilla fondant.  All accents are done in fondant as well.

Charity Auction Items

Last month I was so excited when a customer approached me and asked if I would be willing to do some desserts to be auctioned along with a couple of gift certificates at a local charity auction event.  I was thrilled to accept.  They asked if I could do a small cake, and a plate of cookies.  The auction was this past weekend.  Here is what I came up with.
